Common Questions and Answers:
Do I need an appointment? Yes. All of our clinics are appointments only!
How far along should I be for a 3D/4D Ultrasound? If you plan on having just one ultrasound, we recommend having it between the 26th and 34th week of your pregnancy. Any earlier and the baby may look akward! Any later and you risk the baby being too big to get good images. We will gladly perform the ultrasound before or after this time frame, but this is our recommendation to you.
Can I bring my family and friends? YES! We encourage it! If you are bringing young children, please make sure they are surpervised. If you have many that want to see the ultrasound, consider the "Shower Package". We can comfortably seat 10 people in the room with you at our locations.
Does this take the place of any ultrasounds my doctor wants or orders? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Women having an "elective" ultrasound with us for enjoyment purposes only MUST be currently under the supervision of a physician and sign the appropriate form.
Are you able to determine the sex of my baby? Yes. There are rare cases that the babies position, tissue content, or development stages makes this difficult. Nothing is 100% certain until the baby is born. We recommend you be at least 19-20weeks when having the gender performed. During any ultrasound, always keep in mind that the "baby rules"!
Is my ultrasound covered by insurance? No. This is an elective proceedure that is for enjoyment purposes only. This will be an out of pocket expense. We accept cash and cashiers checks in our Ft Myers/Lehigh/Sebring locations with the credit card option coming soon. No personal checks accepted.
